A24 has released the first trailer for Dream Scenario starring Nicolas Cage.
The Dream Scenario trailer, posted on A24’s YouTube page, sees Cage play Paul Matthews, a mild-mannered professor whose life suddenly takes a turn when he begins to appear in other people’s dreams. After becoming an overnight celebrity, Paul then begins to learn that fame may not be all it’s cracked up to be.

Who stars in Dream Scenario alongside Cage?
Dream Scenario is written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, who is known for 2022’s Sick of Myself. Beau is Afraid’s Ari Aster produces the movie alongside Cage, Lars Knudsen, Tyler Campellone, and Jacob Jaffke.
Along with Cage, Dream Scenario stars Julianne Nicholson (Mare of Easttown, Blonde), Michael Cera (Barbie, Arrested Development), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping), Dylan Gelula (Shithouse, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Dylan Baker (Trick ‘r Treat), Kate Berlant (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Sorry to Bother You), Noah Centineo (Black Adam, The Recruit), Nicholas Braun (Succession, Cat Person), and Amber Midthunder (Prey, Legion).
“A hapless family man Paul Matthews (Cage) finds his life turned upside down when millions of strangers suddenly start seeing him in their dreams,” the official synopsis reads. “But when his nighttime appearances take a nightmarish turn, Paul is forced to navigate his newfound stardom.”
Dream Scenario premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023, where it received positive reviews from critics.
The movie will hit theaters in the United States on November 10, 2023, from A24.
