When are the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials air date?
There are three Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials, which will air weekly on November 25, December 2, and December 9.
The following are the names and release dates of the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary specials:
- The Star Beast – November 25, 2023
- Wild Blue Yonder – December 2, 2023
- The Giggle -December 9, 2023
All three specials will first drop in the United Kingdom on BBC One and will then be available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The episodes will also drop on Disney Plus in the United States and the rest of the world shortly after.
David Tennant, who played the Tenth Doctor on Doctor Who between December 2005 and January 2010, will take on the role of the Fourteenth Doctor for the first time. He will be joined by both returning cast members who will reprise their roles from Doctor Who, such as Catherine Tate’s Donna Noble and Jacqueline King’s Sylvia Noble, and new cast members such as Yasmin Finney’s Rose Noble and Neil Patrick Harris’ Toymaker.
The story of the three specials will see Tennant’s Fourteenth Doctor and Tate’s Donna Noble try to solve the mystery of the former’s uncanny resemblance to the Tenth Doctor while also trying to stop the machinations of Harris’ Toymaker.

All three specials of Doctor Who’s 60th Anniversary will first drop on BBC One in the United Kingdom at 6:30 p.m. GMT and will be available to stream on BBC iPlayer shortly after.
The three specials will also drop on Disney Plus in the United States and the rest of the world during the following times:
