Following the premiere of the latest Doctor Who Christmas special, BBC has finally dropped the first Doctor Who teaser trailer for the next installment of the long-running sci-fi series.
The video provides fans a preview of what to expect from Barbie star Ncuti Gatwa’s first full season as the titular Time Lord. It highlights his upcoming adventures with Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday, whom he met in the Christmas special episode. The series is scheduled to make its return sometime in May 2024 on BBC One and Disney+.

Who’s the cast of Doctor Who Season 14?
Doctor Who Season 14 hails from showrunner Russell T. Davies. Joining Gatwa and Gibson are Jonathan Groff, Indira Varma as The Duchess, Aneurin Barnard, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Jinkx Monsoon, Lenny Rush as Morris, and more. It will also feature the return of series vets Yasmin Finney and Bonnie Langford, reprising their respective roles as Rose Noble and Mel Bush.
“With Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor, alongside Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, they will face new monsters as they head off in the TARDIS for many out-of-this-world adventures,” reads the logline.
