ENA recently shared the Like Flowers in Sand Episode 4 trailer ahead of its premiere. Also streaming on Netflix, the K-drama is a sports romance series starring Jang Dong-Yoon as Kim Baek-Du and Lee Joo-Myoung as Oh Yu-Gyeong.
In episode 3 ending, Yu-Gyeong suggests Baek-Du’s name for the Ssireum wrestling team’s coach. Annoyed by her interference, Baek-Du asks her how she knows what he wants to pursue. She replies by revealing that she is his childhood friend, Du-Sik.
The upcoming installment will further uncover Baek-Du and Du-Sik’s story. Meanwhile, the trailer of Like Flowers in Sand Episode 4 shows that Dong-Yoon’s character gets involved in a murder case.

Like Flowers in Sand Episode 4 trailer begins with Kwak Jin-Su openly challenging Baek-Du for a wrestling match. The winner will become the coach of the Ssireum wrestling team. Jang Dong-Yoon’s character frustratingly asks Yu-Gyeong/Du-Sik why she gave his name in the race. She replies, “Because I need you. Both the team and I need you.”
The trailer further shows cops asking for Baek-Du, adding curiosity to the storyline. He is questioned about the death of Choi Chil-Seong, which was reported as an accident but turned out to be a murder. In the previous episode, viewers saw Yu-Gyeong (Lee Joo-Myoung) come to the town as an undercover cop investigating the murder.
At the end of the preview, it seems Baek-Du is a suspect.

Like Flowers in Sand episode 4 will premiere on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 9 p.m. KST on ENA. The K-drama also streams on Netflix with subtitles.
The Jang Dong-Yoo series airs twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The sports romance drama consists of 12 episodes.
