Ji-Won, who suffers from cancer, is not only depressed about her condition but now witnesses her husband’s affair in real time. She stands shocked as the two discuss making money from her illness. The upcoming tvN K-drama Marry My Husband revolves around Kang Ji-Won. She is married to Park Min-Hwan but soon receives a cancer diagnosis that leaves her with very little time to live. However, what shatters her more is when she witnesses her husband having an affair with her best friend, Jung Soo-Min. The newly released trailer captures Ji-Won’s confusion, shock, and fury as she discovers their affair.
Ji-Won enters her house, hearing familiar voices from the bedroom. As she slowly proceeds towards the room, her husband and her best friend are seen to be talking. Soo-Min applauds Min-Hwan for smartly making money by getting a cancer insurance. He explains that it was better for him to let go of something just when it begins to “wither and dry.” Meanwhile, Ji-Won reaches the bedroom to find the two sleeping together.
Ji-Won stands shocked as the two continue their conversation. Min-Hwan reveals that he’s already received some payment from the insurance after the diagnosis. He tells Soo-Min that he’s ordered her a handbag. Moreover, he mentions that he will order a better one once he receives more money. The two discuss that Min-Hwan will receive 1 billion KRW when Ji-Won dies. Soo-Min then advises him that they buy a house and live together after Ji-Won’s death, to which he agrees.
