Bollywood juggernauts actor Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani collaborate for the first time in their careers in the recent blockbuster Dunki. This collaboration came after a long wait of two decades, with their paths originally set to cross in 2003 for Munna Bhai MBBS.
Adding to the excitement of this collaboration and the success of Dunki, in a recent interview, Hirani expressed that he would love to collaborate again with SRK. However, for now, the director is working on Munnabhai MBBS scripts.

Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki was released on December 21, 2023. And with this movie, their first collaboration became a blockbuster on its opening day. The actor and the director are known for delivering massive record-breaking Indian blockbusters, so fans are eagerly waiting for yet another collaboration.
In a recent interview, Rajkumar Hirani shared his experience of working with the superstar and addressed whether they will reunite again or not. He expressed, “I would love to. I had such joy working with him, we had so much fun. When you have happiness working with somebody, you definitely want to work again with that person. But currently, I am working on scripts.”

Talking about scripts, Hirani hinted at a third sequel to the iconic movie Munna Bhai MBBS. He shared, “Even I want to make one more, but I’ve been generally struggling with a script for a long time. I’ve many unfinished Munna Bhai scripts lying with me, and Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) keeps calling often that let’s make this film.”
Adding to the excitement, he further mentioned a sequel to Sanju as well. He stated, “At idea level, it’s very great, but still it has to be fleshed out and etched out. So, of course, Sanju, yes, we will make it someday.”
All in all, the acclaimed director isn’t stopping at Dunki and promises more cinematic blockbusters on the horizon.
