Akshay Kumar welcomed the new year with a bang by giving his fans an update on his highly anticipated movie, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
The actor shared a glimpse of the upcoming movie with Tiger Shroff. The post saw the duo on a jet ski, cruising through the waters. Both the actors were rocking khaki attire and sunglasses with wide smiles. He captioned the post, “Aapka naya saal Bada bane, chhoti chhoti khushiyon se. Happy New Year, from #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan release date, cast and more
The producers set Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to release on Eid, April 10, 2024. It was initially scheduled for December 22, 2023, but got postponed. As per reports, the teaser is expected to be released during the Republic Day weekend. It stars Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Ronit Roy and Alaya F.
Ali Abbas Zafar wrote and directed the action movie. Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Ali Abbas Zafar, and Himanshu Kishan Mehra produced the movie. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The movie promises a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions, along with spectacular stunts and a captivating storyline. The announcement for the movie took place on February 8, 2022, and its production commenced in January 2023. It has an estimated budget of USD 41 million, making it one of the most expensive Indian movies and the most expensive movie produced by Pooja Entertainment.
David Dhawan directed the original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998). The comedy movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in lead roles and became a cult classic. It revolved around two honest policemen who work together. However, trouble emerges when two thieves, who resemble the policemen, commit crimes, and the police duo is held responsible for them.
